Distribution

Pass it Out

Multiplying groupings is as simple as distributing, or passing out, multiplication to each term.

STEP 1: WATCH THE VIRTUAL CLASS VIDEO AND TAKE NOTES

Make sure to note the following:

To multiply algebraic expressions, you simply distribute, pass out each term of the first expression to each term of the second expression. It's a simple concept that comes up in many different concepts.

STEP 2: COMPLETE ONE LEVEL OF PRACTICE

BEGINNER

We have choices for the beginning student. Practice simple distribution, just an integer times a binomial, with a Quizlet set or a worksheet.

Step up your distribution game by practicing multiplying monomials with polynomials.
